April brings about the reality of taxes doesn’t it? The thought of having to pay more taxes doesn’t sound as appealing as getting money back, wouldn’t you agree?
The thing that makes me say “blech” over taxes is because I typically owe each year. Each year, my CPA and I go through the same routine. We put our heads together and “guess-timate” my potential income for the upcoming year. And sadly, we’re never on the mark…not even close usually.
I have friends who seem to always be in great spirits during the tax season. Mostly because they either get money back from the IRS or break even. I don’t think breaking even sounds bad. However, getting money back sounds fantastic!
If you’re one of those fortunate people to break even, or better yet, get money back…I’m sincerely happy for you. For the rest of us, it’s a dream we never seem to be able to obtain.
